May 19, 2014. Through the course of my career, I have developed a fairly standard outline for expert depositions. I think of the outline as my “starting point,” and every case is different and requires more or less attention to different issues. I did a Google search the other day and came across an outline prepared by a now-deceased Pennsylvania lawyer named Peter Nordberg. His outline can be found here. For those of you, particularly younger lawyers, looking for a good “starting point” with your expert deposition outline, you could do much worse.
