On February 24, Goosmann Law Firm Sioux Falls Managing Partner Beth A. Roesler presented on marijuana in the workplace at the South Dakota Association of Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors 2022 Annual State Convention held in Deadwood, SD.

Roesler presented on the pros and cons surrounding the recent trends for legal marijuana and its direct relation to employment law. Key notes from the presentation include the Drug Free Workplace Act, the state and federal laws surrounding medical marijuana, medical marijuana in worker compensation and the discrimination and harassment concerns surrounding medical marijuana.
