Jeana Goosmann, CEO & Managing Partner of the Goosmann Law Firm, is pleased to announce that attorney Meghann Joyce has been named Partner at the Sioux Falls law firm. Joyce focuses her practice on litigation, including employment law, construction law, and appeals.

Joyce joined the firm in 2018 and has brought and defended several appeals to the South Dakota Supreme Court. She has worked with solo and small law firms as they navigate an appeal to the South Dakota Supreme Court. Along with defending appeals, Joyce lifts the weight off the shoulders of overworked business owners, company executives, and human resource professionals who need strategic solutions to their legal problems.

Joyce is a member of South Dakota Bar Association, Second Circuit Women in Law, and Second Circuit Bar Association, where she was president from June 2016 to March 2017. Additionally, she is an active member of the South Dakota Defense Lawyers’ Association and the South Dakota Trial Lawyers’ Association.

She received both her Juris Doctor and undergraduate degree from the University of South Dakota where she was a Sterling Honor Graduate and a two-time NCAA Division II Track & Field All-American.  Joyce is licensed to practice in South Dakota and Minnesota.
