The Goosmann Law Firm, is now recognized as a Member of the National Association of Minority and Women-Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF).  NAMWOLF is a nonprofit trade association comprised of minority and women owned law firms throughout the United States.  It is NAMWOLF’s view that the most effective way for corporations to increase diversity in the legal profession is to increase the retention of minority and women-owned law firms.  NAMWOLF’s Law Firm Membership is comprised of AV-rated firms.

Jeana Goosmann, CEO and Managing Partner, says, “I’m happy to be a member of an organization that helps keep minority and women owned law firms in the forefront.  It’s a huge honor for our firm, and I’m looking forward to being involved in the organization.”

To become a member of NAMWOLF a candidate must complete an extensive application and screening process that includes: being certified by the National Minority Supplier Development Council or the Women’s Business Enterprise National Counsel, quality of law practiced and adherence to NAMWOLF Core Values, favorable client references from national and regional corporations, and a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Peer Rating of 4.5-5.0.  If a candidate meets all these requirements they are thoroughly examined and reviewed by the Board of Directors.

As a member of NAMWOLF, Goosmann Law Firm will be available to corporations and public entities interested in diversifying their outside law firm ranks through the utilization of minority and female attorneys.  NAMWOLF also assists its Law Firm Members in developing strategic alliances, coalitions, and affiliations with corporations, in-house counsel, and other legal trade associations.  Through these efforts, NAMWOLF works towards the long-term survival of minority and women-owned law firms.

Goosmann is licensed to practice in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
