Emilee Boyle Gehling, Partner of the Goosmann Law Firm, joins The Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAARTA).
As a Fellow of the organization, Gehling joins an elite group of 470 attorneys, law professors, and judges who have an extensive amount of experience in the areas of adoption and assisted reproduction law. Located around the world, Fellows of the Academy are regarded as legal thought leaders and as a highly-vetted and experienced group.
“Joining the Academy has been a dream of mine for years. I am thrilled to join an elite group of professionals highly experienced in assisted reproductive technology law,” Gehling stated. Gehling’s interest in this high focused area was sparked by a law school class covering the intersection of law and medical technology. Her academic interest blossomed when she jumped at the chance to develop her practice “It is so rewarding to play a role in helping families in this way” she said.
Gehling helps families get united with a child they’ve long desired through assisted reproductive technology, gestational surrogacy, and adoption. Since 2010, Gehling has worked with parents using assisted reproductive technology to expand their families. She represents intended parents, gestational surrogates, adoptive parents and egg, sperm, embryo donors in Iowa and South Dakota.
