Creating and maintaining a culture of safety is a mindset for entrepreneurs to achieve for real employee safety in the workplace.  An entrepreneur’s goal is to truly make safety a way of doing business, not just a slogan.  Yet the safety mindset for employees is best achieved when terminology is used to reinforce the existence of a culture of safety in the workplace, coupled with constant safety awareness and reminders. Here is just a taste of some safety slogans. 


 

  1. Safety is about doing the right thing, even if no one is looking, because safety starts with me!
  2. People helping people, all lending hands for our safety.
  3. The difference between a safe act and an unsafe act depends on the level of importance one places on doing what is right.

  11. WORK SAFELY! Watch your HABBITS; they become CHARACTER.
  12. LIVE SAFELY Watch your CHARACTER; it becomes your DESTINY.
  13. Take the extra step when it comes to safety, because if you just tell me, I may forget, If show you me, I might remember, but if you involve me I’m committed.
  14. Plan ahead, always put safety first.
  15. Anyone can start today and make a new ending.
  16. Each and every one of us shares the responsibility of making sure everyone goes home to their families safely every daily. We can achieve this by following the safety procedures that are in place, our families count on us, let’s not let them down.
  17. The nice thing about teamwork is that you always have others on your side. So remember courtesy and common sense promotes safety.
  18. We live in a world full of uncertainties most of which we have little or no control over.  Our Safety does not have to be one of those uncertainties if we work together and follow the rules.
  19. Take responsibility for your safe work environment. Have the strength to do the right thing every time even when it’s seems easier not to.
  20. Stop to think before you act. Accidents are not always the result of bad luck. They occur when someone decides – consciously or not – to take a chance. Be smart and avoid taking unnecessary risks
