Beginning January 1, 2019, South Dakota’s minimum wage for hourly employees will increase to $9.10 per hour. This increase relates to the increased in cost of living, as reported and published through the U.S. Department of Labor.
Tipped employees will also see an increase in minimum wage from $4.425 per hour to $4.55 per hour. This increase also take effect on January 1, 2019.
