We are seeking a skilled and eager-to-learn paralegal to join our growing legal team. In this position, you will help lawyers by investigating facts, researching laws and regulations, and preparing and maintaining legal documents. Organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are a must.

The ideal candidate should be positive, confident, and passionate.  Being organized and prepared is just as important as being able to stay calm when last minute situations arise.  This person should be highly relational, dynamic, collaborative, motivated as well as have a sense of humor. This Paralegal understands the importance of being respectful, detail oriented, responsible and driven. 

ABOUT THE JOB (RESPONSIBILITIES)

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 Full Time – Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Draft, review and edit estate planning documents including: Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Irrevocable Trusts, Promissory Notes, Probate forms and others documents as needed

Coordinate with attorneys, staff and third parties to timely prepare documents

Maintain scheduling calendar for all new estate planning cases

Work directly with clients to obtain required information for drafting

Communicate with Funding Coordinator to ensure proper execution of documents

Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Assist paralegals across locations as needed

SPECIFICATIONS

Required

High School Diploma

Experience with WealthCounsel software

Drafting Skills

Organizational skills

Positivity

Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Preferred

Some college experience, including Associate or Bachelor’s degree

Paralegal certification or degree

Previous Estate Planning experience

Previous experience with legal database software

Excellent communication skills 

Desired

Bi-lingual

Outside Interests- community involvement
