Who we're looking for:
The Goosmann Law Firm, PLC in Sioux City, Iowa is seeking a full-time Marketing Intern for the Summer of 2018 who is proactive, creative, and driven with innovative out-of-the-box thinking and a strong desire for real-world experience.
Everyday responsibilities include updating, imputing, reviewing, and editing content on the Goosmann website and CRM system. Filming and editing videos as well as taking photos for the website and social media. Creating fun and engaging posts for the firm’s social media sites and monthly newsletter. Drafting creative high-quality content for Goosmann’s website, press releases, video scripts and marketing materials for print, web, and presentations. Assisting the Marketing Director with the planning, preparation, and execution of firm events including ordering, making phone calls, sending mailings, organizing lists, running errands, and assisting the day of the event. The Goosmann Marketing Intern will also play a vital role in helping with administrative duties and assisting Goosmann attorneys.
The Goosmann Marketing Intern will work directly with the firm’s Marketing Director. Qualified candidates must be pursuing a degree (preferably entering their senior year) or recent college graduate. Preferred majors include Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Web Design, Graphic Design, Video Production, and Photography. Previous work experience in a professional setting is beneficial. Internships are paid and Interns will also enjoy a flexible work schedule in an energetic and collaborative work environment. It is encouraged that interns work full-time over the summer months. There is potential for the internship to continue part-time throughout the school year depending on the intern’s summer performance.
