The Goosmann Law Firm, PLC in Sioux City, Iowa is seeking a full-time Business Development Intern for the Summer of 2018 who is proactive, sales and relationship driven, and socially confident with out-of-the-box thinking and a strong desire for real-world experience.
Everyday responsibilities include writing high-quality content for Goosmann’s website and presentations. Updating, imputing information, reviewing, and editing the firm’s CRM system. Assisting with the management of projects for trade associations and memberships the firm is involved in. Helping with the creative development of marketing and business development strategies. Researching and prepping for the development of pitches and business opportunities. Assisting the Executive Director with relationship management projects and helping WOW our clients. The Goosmann Business Development Intern will also play a vital role in helping with administrative duties and assisting Goosmann attorneys.
The Goosmann Business Development Intern will work directly with the firm’s Executive Director. Qualified candidates must be pursuing a degree (preferably entering their senior year) or recent college graduate. Preferred majors include Business, Marketing, Advertising, or Communications. Graduates and students attending law school are also encouraged to apply who have previous business / marketing experience. Previous work experience in a professional setting is beneficial. Internships are paid and Interns will also enjoy a flexible work schedule in an energetic and collaborative work environment. It is encouraged that interns work full-time over the summer months. There is a potential for the internship to continue part-time throughout the school year depending on the intern’s summer performance.
