Keely received her Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law, where she was editor of the Journal of Gender, Race, and Justice, her Bachelor of Arts degree in Arts Management from Waldorf College, and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing and English Literature from Loras College. She is licensed to practice in Iowa.
