Beth A. Roesler joined the firm in September of 2019 and became managing partner of the Sioux Falls locations in January of 2020. She is an employment and family law attorney who helps her clients navigate the drama in business and life. She leverages her past HR experience to dissolve employee issues, cut the drama, and find solutions to helping prevent them in the future.
Get to know more about Beth Roelser
Q: What made you want to become an attorney?
A: After college, I was in the workforce for several years in the human resources field, and decided to pursue a Master in Business Administration. When I was a human resources director, I worked with a lot of lawyers, and that piqued my interest in the legal field. During MBA school, I met students that were in the joint MBA/legal program and decided to pursue my law degree.
Q: What has been your biggest success as an attorney?
A: The relationships built with clients and the many ways that being a lawyer allows me to serve others and my community.
Q: What do you enjoy most about being an attorney?
A: The pace, my days are filled with interesting people, problems, and situations. I most enjoy helping the people that I am privileged to have as clients and provide them with guidance and solutions.
Q: What is your favorite thing about Goosmann Law Firm?
A: The people and culture. I get to work everyday with people who are thoughtful, caring, and accomplished.
Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of the courtroom?
A: I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love cheering on my boys in their extracurricular activities including; hockey, baseball, soccer, golf, football and live stock shows. You can also often find me running with my dog Bauer or on the golf course.
