Job Description:

The Goosmann Law Firm, PLC is seeking a full time Marketing Assistant in either three of their office locations – Sioux City, IA, Omaha, NE, Sioux Falls, SD. The Marketing Assistant will work with the firm’s Marketing Department to help implement firm-wide marketing efforts across all three of their locations.  This role will report directly to the firm’s Marketing Director. The Marketing Assistant must be creative, organized, detail oriented, and have a strong work ethic. Other requirements for the position include a Bachelors’ Degree and at least 1 year of previous marketing experience.  Previous experience with WordPress, social media, video, photography, podcasts, and having worked in the legal field are preferred.

 

Job Functions & Essential Duties Include (But Are Not Limited To):

  • Drafting, updating, and maintaining content for firm website, social media accounts, digital and print newsletters, news media outlets, and print
  • Helping produce email marketing campaigns, podcasts, videos, and photography
  • Gathering and maintaining attorney case stories and experience
  • Assisting with onboarding of marketing materials for new hires
  • Assisting with planning, promotion and implementation of firm events
  • Helping maintain and input data in firm CRM system
  • Assisting with the design and updating of marketing materials
  • Maintaining and enhancing online legal profiles/bios & CVs
  • Additional marketing administrative duties as assigned

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
  • At least 1 year of previous marketing experience
  • Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite Software
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Skills
  • Organizational Skills
  • Attention to Detail
  • Creativity

Preferred Experience:

  • 2-3 years of previous marketing experience
  • CRM platforms
  • WordPress
  • Social Media
  • Video
  • Photography
  • Podcasts
  • Working within the legal field
