ABOUT THE JOB (RESPONSIBILITIES)
- The responsibilities of the Human Resources Generalist include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Report to Chief Operating Officer to achieve business goals
- Liaison between Managing attorneys and HR
- Create trust and culture to empower employees to have careers worth having and lives worth living
- Establish a work environment that is appealing to new team members and is difficult for current team members to leave
- Implement human resources plans and development to support the Firm’s strategic plan
- Drive recruitment, hiring, onboarding, retention, and all personnel issues
- Assist in developing and carrying out a systemized training and development program
- Maintain accurate employee personnel files
- Ensure all memberships and professional certifications are up-to-date
- Manage hourly employee time tracking system and PTO hours
- Work closely with firm’s contracted payroll administrator
- Ensure annual reviews and written reviews are completed on time
- Organize, maximize, motivate team members to increase productivity
- Travel 10% of the time

Required
- 4 Year Degree or equivalent work experience

- Knowledge of compensation plans, recruitment, employment law, culture development, Performance management and wellness
