Meet Goosmann Intern Rachel Schartz

Rachel Schartz is a rising sophomore at Harvard, concentrating in English with a secondary in Global Health.  At Harvard, she devotes her time to the John Adams Society, the International Humanitarian Law Action Campaign, the Network for Enlightened Women, Harvard College Faith and Action, Prospectus, and the Institute of Politics, among others.  She also serves as a volunteer for the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter and as a volunteer and liaison to My Life My Choice, a Boston organization mentoring victims of human trafficking.  As a researcher for an ideation hub working to eliminate modern slavery from Harvard’s procurement process, she began work on a new student organization, the Campaign Against Modern Slavery, and dedicated herself to studying human rights law. 

After working at several private law firms and State’s Attorney’s Offices, Rachel tabbed Goosmann Law Firm is a breath of fresh air.  Being born and raised in the Midwest, Rachel brings her impeccable work ethic, fresh ideas, and irreproachable writing skills to the Firm.
