On September 14th-17th NAMWOLF held their Annual Meeting in Houston. Jeana Goosmann, CEO & Managing Partner of the Goosmann Law Firm, attended the conference along with Attorneys Heather Knox Sazama and Cesar Juarez, and the firm’s Marketing Director, Rachel Thompson. This is the second year Goosmann Law Firm has attended the national event.
What's NAMWOLF you ask?NAMWOLF stands for the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms. In 2015, Goosmann Law Firm officially became a member of the NAMWOLF organization as the only NAMWOLF law firm in the states of Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, and North Dakota.
During the conference, Jeana co-presented on "Try it Like TED in Court," how to apply TED talk principles in the courtroom.

Along with co-presenting the Goosmann team participated in a number of events during the conference such as the Law Firm Expo, CLEs, and networking sessions. Attendees also had the opportunity to listen to guest speaker and Mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner, and speaker Hill Harper, Best-Selling Author and Award-Winning Actor from CSI: NY. Conference attendees joined in a private cocktail reception at the Houston Museum of Natual Science in the Morian Hall of Paleontology.
Here are some fun photos from the conference we want to share with you!

The Goosmann team hosted a pop-up cocktail party at the Four Seasosn in downtown Houston. Like being on the scene of a TV cooking competition, the room had an up-close view in the kitchen where all the action was.

Marketing Director Rachel Thompson volunteered during the conference and met all of NAMWOLF's wonderful staff and volunteers who helped make the annual meeting a success! Thank you volunteers!
