Jeana Goosmann, CEO and Managing Partner of the Goosmann Law Firm, welcomes Heather Knox Sazama as she joins the firm at their Sioux Falls, South Dakota Office. Sazama’s focus will be in litigation and employment law as she protects clients’ goals in and out of the courtroom.  Her practice will add to the firm’s growing number of over 450 trials in state and federal courts.

After starting her career as Federal law clerk and private practice attorney, Sazama worked as a prosecutor for the Pennington County State’s Attorney Office. As a courtroom prosecutor, Heather provided education and training to law enforcement officers and tried numerous court cases.

Goosmann says, “Heather’s background as a prosecutor for the State’s Attorney Office will be a valuable asset to our trial team.  She will help our clients solve some of their biggest headaches with business and employment issues.”

Sazama received her Juris Doctor from the University of South Dakota (USD) School of Law where she was the South Dakota Law Review Production Editor and Vice President of her class. She is an active member of the South Dakota State Bar Association as well as Junior Achievement of South Dakota.

Sazama is licensed to practice in South Dakota. She joins Marie Ruettgers, Managing Attorney of Goosmann Law’s Sioux Falls Office, and Cesar Juarez, a bilingual trial lawyer and employment law attorney.

“The Goosmann team is a power group and I’m thrilled to be a part of it,” says Sazama. “Sioux Falls is a dynamic place to live and work, and I’m excited to join this community and maintain my South Dakota roots.”

The Goosmann Law Firm is a full service law firm with locations in Sioux Falls and Dakota Dunes, South Dakota; Fargo, North Dakota; and Spencer and Sioux City, Iowa.  To learn more about the Goosmann Law Firm, visit their website at www.GoosmannLaw.com or call (855) THE-GLF1.
