1. Jeana Goosmann Selected as 2021 Enterprising Women of the Year
Goosmann Law Firm is proud to announce that CEO and Managing Partner, Jeana Goosmann was selected as a 2021 Enterprising Women of the Year Award Winner. 2. Goosmann Law Firm Ranked on 2022 Best Law Firm List
Goosmann Law Firm is proud to announce that they have been regionally ranked by the U.S. News - Best Lawyers® "Best Law Firms". To be eligible for a ranking in the 2021 Edition of U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms”, a firm must first have a lawyer named in The Best Lawyers in America©. 3. Sackett Law Firm Merges with Goosmann Law Firm
In March of 2021, Goosmann Law Firm merged with Sackett Law Firm, a Northwest Iowa-based firm and former Goosmann Affiliate. Now recognized as Sackett | A Goosmann Law Firm, located in Spirit Lake and Spencer, Iowa, is the fourth Goosmann office location in addition to Sioux City, Iowa, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Omaha, Nebraska.
4. William Hale Named Sioux City Managing Partner of Goosmann Law Firm
In May of 2021 William Hale was named Sioux City Managing Partner of Goosmann Law Firm. Will was previously an attorney for Goosmann Law Firm at their Omaha location since 2017.
5. Todd Bittner Joins Goosmann Law Firm as CFO
In June of 2021 Goosmann Law Firm welcomed Todd Bittner as Chief Financial Officer. Bittner is actively involved with our leadership team in driving the success and growth opportunities at the Firm. He also oversees Goosmann’ s financial department team.
6. Andy Simpson Named Omaha Managing Partner
In May of 2021 Andy Simpson was named Omaha Managing Partner of Goosmann Law Firm. Andy has been with Goosmann Law Firm since 2019.
7. Joel Carney Named CPO of Goosmann Law Firm
In May of 2021 Joel Carney was named Chief People Officer (CPO) of Goosmann Law Firm. This role allows Joel to lead the Firm strategy and processes related to building and retaining an exceptional team of professionals.
8. Larry Roland and Lisa Steffen Named Partners
In 2021 Larry Roland was named Partner of Goosmann Law Firm. Larry joined the firm at their Omaha location in 2018.
In 2021 Lisa Steffen was named Partner of Goosmann Law Firm. Lisa joined the firm with the merger of Sackett Law Firm in March of 2021.
9. Jeana Goosmann Selected Among America’s Top 100 Bet-the Company Litigators®
In May of 2021, CEO and Managing Partner, Jeana Goosmann was selected as one of America’s Top 100 Bet-the Company Litigators® for 2021. To be considered for selection, an attorney must have litigated a matter with at least $2,000,000 in alleged damages at stake or with the fate of a business worth at least $2,000,000 at stake. 10. Jeana Goosmann Inducted into Nebraska State Bar Foundation Fellows
Jeana Goosmann was inducted to the Nebraska State Bar Foundation Fellows on Friday, August 13, 2021, at the 33rd Annual Fellows Dinner. Selection to become a Fellow of the Nebraska State Bar Foundation is a prestigious honor granted annually to 30 lawyers or less.
