Goosmann is licensed to practice in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.

Elizabeth M. Lally is a complex banking litigator and banking/bankruptcy practice area leader at the Goosmann Law Firm. She has experience representing Chapter 11 debtors, Chapter 7 and 11 Trustees, secured creditors, and unsecured creditor committees. In February 2020, Ms. Lally was appointed as a Subchapter V Trustee for Region 12 by the United States Department of Justice.

Throughout her career, Lally was special litigation counsel to the Chapter 7 Panel Trustee in one of the largest cattle Ponzi schemes in the history of the United States. Lally also served as counsel to the Chapter 7 Trustees for the only two bank holding company bankruptcies filed in Indiana during the Great Recession—In Re: Irwin Financial Corporation and In Re: Integra Bank, N.A.

Lally is a member of the Nebraska and Iowa State Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Section, the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) and serves on the Board of the ABI’s Midwest chapter, as well as the National Association of Minority and Women-Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) where she is part of the Financial Services Practice Area Committee. Lally is licensed to practice in Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, and Indiana.
