Goosmann Law Firm Attorney Christopher Barondeau was selected as the 2015 recipient of the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys (NAFLA) Top 10 Attorney Award. This award is recognized by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys, a nationally accredited organization devoted to recognizing outstanding top family law attorneys who have attained a high degree of professional achievement with the intent of helping consumers select well-qualified professionals. Barondeau received an honor that is limited to less than 1% of attorneys in each state.
To become a Top 10 Attorney a candidate must be licensed with at least 5 years of family law experience, in good standing with their local bar association and be nominated by a licensed practicing attorney. In addition, each attorney must have achieved meaningful professional recognition and earned the respect of their clients and peers. In the final stage of the NAFLA’s 4 step selection process, the Board of Governors reviews the finalists and selects the official Award Recipients from each state.
Barondeau’s focused practice areas are family law and ag law. He is a solid advocate and strong support for clients during a life changing divorce. Barondeau is a member of the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division; Family Law Section’s Young Lawyers Committee, and the Board of the Iowa State Bar Association’s Family Law & Juvenile Law Sections.
Barondeau is licensed to practice in Iowa and Nebraska.
