The conference takes place at the University of Missouri-Kansas City on October 3rd, 2019. Lally’s presentation is titled “Ethically Speaking: Competence and Common Pitfalls in Bankruptcy.” The presentation will examine what the Model Rules of Professional Conduct have to say about competence, what we learn about competence in bankruptcy practice from related case law, and how to avoid the pitfalls and mistakes of others.
