The Russian Government was ordered on July 18, 2014, to pay damages of approximately $50 billion, plus $60 million in legal fees for using tax claims to destroy Yukos, once the country's largest oil producer, and its Kremlin-critical CEO.

This is the largest international arbitration award in history. The court’s three-member panel, determined Russia was not acting in good faith to collect taxes when it leveled massive claims against Yukos. See the article HERE for more details about the arbitration.
