Rural Small Businesses Uniquely Positioned to Capitalize on Funding Sources

July 30, 2013. The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) is keenly aware of the important contributions rural small business make to their local and regional economies. In fact, the USDA recently announced several funding opportunities that numerous rural small businesses throughout the country have taken advantage of.

In light of the valuable contributions that these rural small businesses make in growing local and regional economies, the USDA is consistently looking for opportunities to provide critical funding to help rural small business expand and prosper. To this end, the USDA Rural Development program offers a multitude of resources, including grant funding, to eligible rural business.
