Center for Agricultural Law and Taxation to Offer Monthly Webinars

Written by Goosmann Law Team | Apr 30, 2014 8:50:35 AM

April 30, 2014. The Center for Agricultural Law and Taxation (CALT) at Iowa State University will be offering twice monthly webinars (“The Scoop”) lasting 30 minutes. These webinars will provide great insight into current hot agricultural law issues, recent court cases and new IRS procedures.

The webinars will generally be held on Wednesdays and will spend the first 15 minutes providing a brief discussion of issues that have been identified that may have a broad impact on practitioners. The second 15 minutes will be something of an open forum where you can let CALT know of any issues you are experiencing in your practice.

CALT was formed by the Iowa Board of Regents in 2006 with the intention of providing timely, critical, and objective information to producers, professionals and agribusinesses concerning the application of important developments in agricultural law and taxation (federal and state legal opinions of relevance, as well as critical legislative developments), and is a primary source of professional educational training in agricultural law and taxation.

For additional information on the scheduling of the available monthly webinars please visit the registration home page. For questions concerning Ag Law, contact the Goosmann Law Firm at info@goosmannlaw.com or call 712-226-4000.
