November 27, 2013. The Administration has announced a year delay for the online market for small businesses. Firms with fewer than 50 employees would be eligible for coverage under this exchange, which was slated to roll out shortly. This will limit the options for small businesses to obtain coverage. Many small business owners had planned to search and compare coverage options on the website upon its upcoming rollout. Such businesses will be left to obtain coverage through the traditional market, if they choose to seek coverage. Read the story from The Hill here.
