Josh White, Executive Director of Goosmann Law Firm’s Omaha Office, has been named to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Executive Committee. As a member of the Executive Committee, White will join forces with the Goosmann Law team to sponsor and execute the annual fundraising walk hosted by the society.
The ultimate goal of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) is to create a world without blood cancers. In order to work towards this goal, the society hosts the Light the Night Walk to raise funds and awareness for the diseases. As a member of the Executive Committee, White will be tasked with working with LLS to develop a fundraising plan and coordinating staff and volunteers to achieve the goals of the Light the Night Walk.
White says, ““It means so much to me to be part of the LLS Executive Committee. My brother is a 6-year survivor of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Our family witnessed the struggle, pain, and ultimate triumph that he and his family went through in fighting the disease. Because of this first-hand experience, I am honored to be a part of a group that can help raise awareness and funding for the continued fight against blood related cancers.”
